Keating also covers NASA stories for Fox News, including NASA's Space Shuttle program, and the new Constellation program. Previously, he reported for the syndicated magazine show Geraldo Rivera on the Fox News channel-produced program Geraldo At Large. Prior to Geraldo,Keating was also a correspondent in the Fox News Channel's Dallas bureau.

He joined the program after an award-winning career in Denver at KUSA and KDVR. He has covered major national stories from Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath to the shootings at Columbine High School.[citation needed]
